1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using this website (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you are using the Site on behalf of a business, school, or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
Minimum age: You must be at least 16 years old to submit forms or contact us through the Site. If you are under 16, a parent or legal guardian must contact us on your behalf. We do not knowingly accept enquiries from children under 16.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site. You may still contact us using the contact details in the footer without using web forms.
2. Service description
Loxavira operates an Irish aquaponics farm and provides information about aquaponics systems, farm operations, and potential products (fish and leafy greens). The Site is intended to help visitors understand how our integrated loop works and to make it possible to contact us about:
- Tours and educational visits (by appointment).
- Product availability enquiries and handling notes.
- Partnership and pilot discussions (retail, hospitality, education, research).
- General questions about our approach and operations.
The Site does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice. Any operational descriptions are general explanations and may not represent a complete set of procedures for building or operating your own system. If you intend to build an aquaponics system, you are responsible for compliance with applicable Irish and EU regulations and for appropriate professional advice.
3. User obligations
When using the Site, you agree to:
- Use the Site in a lawful manner and in good faith.
- Provide accurate information when submitting a form so we can respond effectively.
- Keep your communications respectful and relevant to your enquiry.
- Not attempt to interfere with the Site’s normal operation, performance, or security.
If the Site ever offers account features, you agree that one account may be used per individual unless we explicitly approve additional accounts for an organisation. At present, we generally operate via direct contact rather than accounts.
4. Intellectual property
The Site and all content on it, including text, design elements, diagrams, graphics, logos, icons, and code (collectively, “Content”), are owned by or licensed to Loxavira and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, Loxavira grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for your personal or internal business purposes. You may view and print pages for reference. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, create derivative works from, sell, or exploit the Content except where explicitly permitted by law or with our prior written permission.
“Loxavira” and associated marks are trademarks of Loxavira. You may not use our name, logos, or brand elements in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without explicit written permission.
5. Prohibited activities
You agree not to engage in any of the following activities in connection with the Site:
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our systems, or any user data.
- Scraping, harvesting, or collecting content or contact details from the Site using automated means without permission.

6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loxavira disclaims all warranties and representations, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability.
We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee that information on the Site is complete, current, or suitable for your specific purposes. Aquaponics is biological and operationally complex, and results vary based on environment, system design, husbandry, and maintenance.
Any response we provide to enquiries is based on the information you supply and on our operational experience. It should not be relied on as a substitute for professional advice tailored to your context.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Loxavira will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or Content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loxavira’s total liability for direct damages arising out of or related to the Site or these Terms will be limited to the lower of (a) the amount paid by you to Loxavira for services in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) €100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that Irish law does not permit to be limited.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Loxavira, its owners, employees, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your breach of these Terms.

Accessing third-party links is at your own risk, and you should review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
10. Privacy and data protection
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect (for example, contact details submitted via forms), how it is used, retention periods, and your rights under the GDPR.
If you contact us by email or phone, we will use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry. If you wish to withdraw consent or request deletion, follow the instructions in the Privacy Policy or email us at [email protected].
11. Governing law and jurisdiction

Subject to the dispute resolution clause below, the courts of Dublin, Ireland will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Site.
12. Dispute resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and provide a brief written description of the dispute and the relief you are seeking. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days of receiving the notice.
If the dispute is not resolved within that 30-day period, either party may pursue the claim in the courts identified in the governing law clause, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply.
13. Termination
